The MW Alumni Blog Ring is a non formal association of graduates of Mary Washington College, MWC of UVA and yes, even University of Mary Washington. There are many people who are listed here of varied classes. Now, youre thinking what the heck is he talking about?

Firstly, a blog for those of you who don't know is a web published personal journal. These web pages contain all kinds of opinions, rants, observations and just any thing under the sun. So what's the deal with a blog ring? A blog ring is a way for a group of people to stay in touch with each other. The more people that sign onto this thing the more alumni will be accessable. Why wait until homecoming when you can stalk people online?

So, you've decided, that yes I want my blog to be connected to the MW Alumni Blog Ring. Well its easy. There is a link on this page at the left that you see that says 'MW Alumni Blog Ring and has some other links underneath it. Click the link that says join. You will fill out a form and I will check your site to make sure you meet the requirements. And there are several. First, you must be a graduate of that college in Fredericksburg whether your diploma says State Normal and Industrial School for Women (would be totally awesome if you're still out there) or University of Mary Washington. Second. you must have a link to this webpage on your blog and have it titled MW Alumni Blog Ring. Third and most importantly, you must have the custom code that you recieve from ringsurf.com upon joining the weblog. It will be emailed to you after you apply to join.
